JUDGING YOUR SUCCESS WITH A SCALE

You need to know that scale will never show you the whole picture. You don’t need to be obsessed with that number, it’s only going to take up unnecessary mental energy. In a single day, weight can fluctuate 3 to 7 pounds. So don’t judge your success with a scale!

YOU’RE AFRAID TO EAT FAT

Eating fat to burn fat may sound crazy, but ketogenic dieting has many researched benefits. Ketogenic diets are very high-fat, moderate-protein, carbohydrate-restricted diets. Your body can’t get enough dietary fat when is in the state of ketosis.  Don`t be afraid to eat fat.

MISTAKE #3

YOU’RE EATING BAD FATS

Eating the wrong types of fats is equally as not eating enough fat. To achieve ketosis, go for saturated fats – high-fat dairy products, such as butter, Greek yogurt, cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese, animal fats, coconut oil. Monounsaturated fats found in olive oil, avocado, and nuts, are also good options on a keto diet. You shouldn`t have a problem to achieve ketosis if you stick to these choices.

YOU’RE EATING TOO MUCH PROTEIN

On one side if you don’t get enough protein, can quickly lead to weakness, brain fog and long recovery times. On the other side if you take in too much protein you can`t reach a state of ketosis. Taking too much protein can sabotage your efforts to achieve ketosis.

YOU’RE RELYING ON PROCESSED AND/OR FAST FOODS

You must eat real food, from real ingredients. Processed or fast food isn’t substitute for a homemade meal from fresh ingredients.

Keto diet isn’t about adhering to a strick list of foods or timing and portioning your meals, you can eat every time you FEEL hungry. Its very simple if you don’t feel hungry don’t eat !

YOU’RE JUDGING YOUR PROGRESS ACCORDING TO OTHERS

You are setting yourself for disappointment, if you compare yourself with other people, who`ve adopted keto lifestyle. Just because someone reduced his body fat in the first month, if you haven’t it doesn’t mean that you`re falling. By comparing yourself to others you will never find your balanced keto lifestyle version.
